Trash Requirements
We aim to keep all trash in bags and in the can for a cleaner community and to keep animals out.
If you have a lot of extra trash weekly we recommend a second trash can.
Acceptable trash
- food waste
- household trash
- yard clippings
Non-acceptable trash
- batteries of any kind
- paint/stain
- oil of any kind
- chemicals
These items are hazardous and are not acceptable at the landfill
They cause fires and destroy trucks
We run automated side loaders for trash pick up so please keep your can 4 feet away from mail box and closest to the curb as possible
The trash cans have Arrows on the lid and they should be pointing at the street
If your can is facing backwards it will cause trash to fling in your yard when the arm comes down
